History

The International School of Aviation Australia (ISAA) is in the process of changing its name from the Avondale College School of Aviation to ISAA (an enterprise of ITC Aviation Pty Ltd). ISAA is situated in the beautiful Hunter Valley of New South Wales, Australia and has been operating since 1977 as part of Avondale College. ISAA recognises the diversity of students the school trains, many of whom have become successful pilots across the Pacific.

We offer a unique combination of academic, professional and flight resources that are highly respected within the national and international aviation industry. Graduates work across many areas of aviation, including one student who has become Director General of Civil Aviation in his own country.

Airlines where our graduates currently work as commercial pilots include:

* Qantas
* Virgin Blue
* Solomon Airlines
* Hazelton Airlines
* Cathay Pacific
* Pacific Air Express

Reliability

ISAA (formerly Avondale School of Aviation) has been training pilots since 1977 and will become part of the the ITC Group of Schools (ITC is the commercial arm of the University of Wollongong).

Experience

We pride ourselves on our committed team of Grade 1 flight instructors who possess both educational qualifications and strong aviation industry experience.
